Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from brilliant why they were around These were brilliant sweets with a great strong ginger taste with a wicked kickback, perfect for those of us who like strong hot sweets. Sadly they seem to have disappeared from stores with no decent alternatives available. Real shame

Rated 5 out of 5 by LittlePiglet from Nice and hot This is my favourite H&B sweet. Nice hot ginger flavour. I find them quite soothing when I have an itchy or sore throat, as an alternative to cough sweets. The only suggestion that I can make to improve it is to bring out a sugar free version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Doubsie from Have you been Gingered? I hadn't really realised that the ginger would come in a sweet form as previous ginger that I have bought was the crystallised root. I would say that I much prefer the root as when the sugar that it si coated with is washed off it makes a very nice digestive after a meal. Bot products I find far too sweet an would hope that it would be possible to produce a "dry-ginger" version with far less in the way of sugar content. Holland and Barratt are a the for front of the health food retailing show should be showing the way by reducing sugar in products that do't really need it.
