For Basic Popcorn: 4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil / butter, Popcorn Kernels sufficient to cover bottom of the pan.
Method: Pour the Olive Oil into the pan and begin heating (on a medium-high heat), after about a minute add the kernels and put the lid on the pan. After the corn begins popping, if using an electric stove turn the heat off, if using a gas stove leave it on for another minute or so. When the tempo of the popping has slowed, take the popcorn off the heat entirely and wait to transfer it to a bowl until it stops completely. Now the popcorn is ready for flavouring of choice or just to eat naturally.

Store in a cool, dry place preferably in an air tight container once opened.
