Rated 2 out of 5 by Mango26 from Taste bitter I have tried to make a poppy seeds filling. I tried them from the package and they tasted bitter. I also added hot water to them as the recipe required and they still tasted bitter. It is written on the Internet that poppy seeds need to be stored in a cool place in the shop so the oil inside the seeds doesn't become rancid. It is a shame as I don't know what to do with it , I still got like 1 1/2 packs left.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Syl74 from Poppy seeds I was looking forward to having poppy seeds sprinkled on my baked goodies and they were tasteless. So I was disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Emma1650 from Good quality seed poor quality packaging. The seeds are fine albeit a little expensive. My main concern is the packet quality. I shop online and on two occasions I have received packets that have split in the delivery box resulting in poppy seeds all over the kitchen. H&B have replaced the seeds but didn't come round to clear up the kitchen.
