What is almond flour?
Almond flour is made from ground almonds that have been blanched in boiling water to remove their outer skins and then ground and sifted into a fine flour.
How can I use almond flour?
Almond flour is ideal for use in baking as it's subtly-sweet and light but packed with nutritional value. As it has less carbs than regular flour, it can be used by people following a keto diet to make keto bread, and almond flour cake, cookies, brownies and biscuits. We'd definitely recommend using our almond flour in macarons.
- Use in place of regular flour for low-carb baking
- Rich in protein and a good source of fibre
