Holland & BarrettCold PressedStarflower Oilprovides the fatty acids Linoleic Acid (LA) and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). Not all fatty acids can be made in the body, and so must be supplied through diet or supplementation.
Within the body Linoleic Acid is metabolised to GLA, which is essential for the production of certain hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Human breast milk is one of the richest natural sources of GLA, whilst LA can be found in safflower, hemp and sunflower oils.

“Huge capsules. I thought I would try them as other reviews said they were soft and easy to swallow. Absolutely not the case. I wasted my money. I just don’t understand why these types of supplements can’t be produced in smaller / easier to swallow forms. There are so many examples that those of us who find swallowing large tablets difficult are excluded from. It’s so frustrating!”
