H&B Tribiotic Mind Balance, 60 Tablets

Holland & Barrett Tribiotic Mind Balance is a pre-, pro- and post-complex which contains a clinically studied blend of 6 specially tailored bacteria strains. We’ve also added ashwagandha, a natural herbal supplement which may support mental relaxation and contributes to general wellbeing, and Vitamin B12, which contributes to normal psychological function.
The importance of microbiome balance
Our gut is home to trillions of bacteria, comprising a variety of strains living side-by-side.
Known as the gut microbiome, this colony of bacteria, both good (friendly) and bad (pathogenic), requires balance to work at its optimum levels.
A microbiome which is out of balance, with too many pathogenic bacteria and not enough friendly bacteria, can be linked to a whole host of issues.
The gut and mental health
Known as the gut-brain axis, the link between our intestines and our grey matter is of increasing interest to scientists and wellbeing experts alike.
Not only are the brain and the gut linked physically, via the vagus nerve, but gut microbes talk directly to your brain via neurotransmitters, short-chain fatty acids and amino acids too.

This pre-, pro- and post- complex not only delivers live strains of clinically studied bacteria, including Lactospore and Lactobacillus plantarum, but it also provides food for existing bacteria, in the shape of kiwi fibre, plus a bonus dose of calcium lactate, the same substance produced by your gut’s bacteria, and can help support the function of digestive enzymes.
And that is not all! In addition to providing a dose of bacteria, Tribiotic Mind Balance also contains KSM-66® ashwagandha, sometimes referred to as ‘Indian ginseng’ which is popularly used in Ayurveda to promote mental relaxation.
