Description
- Iron – each 1ml dose provides children with 10mg of iron bisglycinate, a gentle and well absorbed form of iron. Iron supports normal red blood cell formation, normal oxygen transport and contributes to normal cognitive function
- Vitamin B12 and Folic acid – both these nutrients work in conjunction with iron to support normal red blood cell formation. Children following a plant based diet are at risk of low B12.
- Vitamin C – helps to increase absorption of iron. Suitablefor vegans & vegetarians
Iron deficiency in children is relatively common, and could affect development or lead to anaemia. Babies are born with iron stored in their bodies, but a steady amount of additional iron is required, particularly between 7-12 months. Babies who are breast fed or not fed an iron enriched formula, are at risk of low iron between these ages. Infants and children following a largely plant based diet are similarly at risk. Directions:
This product may have natural sediment and should be shaken before use. Infants aged 3-6 months: Take half a ml daily added to milk or water. Infants and children 7 months to 5 years: Take 1ml per day, added to juice, milk or water. Clean and dry the dropper after each use with cooled, boiled water. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Once opened use within 4 months.

Horrible taste/smell
“I found trying to hide the taste nearly impossible. The drops are fine but what use are they if kid can't stand them. I know it's not a fault with a product however. The dosage is also pretty big (entire syringe)”
