Holland & Barrett Evening Primrose Oil has been extracted using the cold-press method and enriched with vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy yielding metabolism and can contribute to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. These capsules also contain vitamin E.

What Are the Benefits of Evening Primrose Oil?
- This combination provides linoleic acid (LA) and gamma linoleic acid (GLA), both are omega-6 essential fatty acids that the body can’t produce by itself and must be supplied through diet or supplements. The body metabolises GLA from LA, which can also be found in safflower, hemp, and sunflower oils.
- Vitamin B6 contributes towards the regulation of hormonal activity.
- Linoleic acid contributes to maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10g linoleic acid.
