“This item contains 50mg of PABA. It has been limited in quantities deemed safe in many countries. I raised this concern with H&B but they chose to ignore both a phone call and an online contact. I enclose what I have found online relating to this PABA. I have taken these complete vit B complex for many years and have now been diagnosed with Squamous cell on my face. I have stopped taking these vitamins now and urge anyone considering taking these to read this. PABA can cause skin irritation and might also stain clothing with a yellow color. It might cause nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. It is POSSIBLY UNSAFE to take PABA in high doses. Taking more than 12 grams per day can cause serious side effects such as liver, kidney, and blood problems. Research indicates PABA has carcinogenic potential.”
