Natural
“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first seen this product I thought the packaging looks nature inspired. With lots of information on the ingredients and they all seem very good. On trying it I felt it was very thick even a bit difficult to get out of the tube. I followed the instructions and it did turn in to a milky substance with little bits in it so may exfoliate a wee bit also. However I think it’s a bit oily as I felt it was difficult to clean off if you don’t have a face cloth. Overall the product did leave my skin feeling fresh and smooth so would buy again.”

Hydrating

Organic and natural, but may be hard to remove
“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time I had tried a cleansing “balm”, and it did live up to the name. The consistency was very similar to thick Vaseline, and felt like such on the face. The ingredients are ethically sourced and appear to all be natural. The smell was very familiar although hard to place, almost like a mix between tiger balm and vicks? The instructions said that it should lather with water and it did VERY slightly, and while it perhaps did cleanse the skin I had a very hard time removing it due to the Vaseline like texture. I ended up using a secondary cleanser with a makeup removal cloth, although afterwards it was definitely very clean!”

Great results but difficult to remove.
“[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I absolutely love the brand ethos and their effort towards sustainability. It really is commendable the steps the brand takes in supporting the planet. This product uses organic ingredients, doesn't test on animals, and uses packaging that is recycled and recyclable. The product itself was rather difficult to dispense on the first use. It was a thick consistency, which I'm not sure if that is a result of the room temperature. The product is easy to work into the skin and feels pleasant. However, I found the product quite difficult to rinse away. It does take time and effort to fully remove the product. Once the product was removed, my skin did feel really soft and hydrated. I think this would be a great product for those with dry skin.”
