Henna is permanent and cannot be bleached later
“I used the Copper shade of Henne Colour and all though I was happy with the colour and it tinted my greys satisfactorily, I was not expecting a permanent colour that would turn green with bleach. No where on the packet or instructions did it say it would be permanent and that bleach cannot be used until grown out. I used it about 12 months ago and after an experienced hair colourist did two strand tested this week, on two small but decent size bunches of hair cut from inconspicuous places, the mid and lower sections of my hair turned green. I am able to have a brown dye used thankfully, just not bleach balayage or highlights to disguise greys until the henna has grown out.”

“I use this regularly on my mid- brown hair which is going grey. It covers the grey and lightens my hair. I use Elvive purple shampoo to stop the colour becoming brassy. I colour every 4 weeks and my hair is in much better condition than when I had chemical dye at the hairdresser.”

it is a healthy option
“I think it might be beneficial to those whom do not mind the process and definitely the fact that is natural it is VERY BENEFICIAL....but to my personal experience I think it is impossible for me to use it. It is a very messy process, it takes long time to keep it on you hair to see results and you need a plastic hair cap to cover the hair or will just go all over you. It is not easy for frequent use unless you get some professional salon to do it for you. other than the practical use of it I think it is a great product instead all the chemical dyes, will give you a peace of mind and keep you healthy.”

I love gold henna
“I've been using gold henna on my naturally blond and now whit hair since the 19i0s and I love it. There is no dramatic change but under a lamp or in sunlight and candlelight it absolutely glitters like twilight :-) I've never used red henna as red does not suit my skin colouring.”
