Joints, we all have them. But what are they?
Essentially, joints are the area where two bones meet together that allow the body to move.
For some, they are a part of our body that help us get on with day to day life, and for others, they are the source of a lot of problems.
Our joints are made up primarily with type II collagen. As we age, our body produces less collagen which can cause our joints to lose their collagen content, meaning we find it more difficult to move.
So you would be forgiven if you are conscious about your joint health. This is where our top tips and expert-approved content can help you support healthy joints.
Additionally, and probably as equally important, is your diet. Getting enough Vitamin C in your diet contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and manganese is also scientifically proven to contribute to the normal formation of connective tissue.
As always nature has a part to play in our wellbeing, with certain herbals looking after our joint flexibility. See our top joint products and expert-approved content to find out more.
As well as general day to day maintenance of our joints, there are others who are living in pain; you may not want to cause a fuss, feel it will go away on its own or think that someone else may have it worse, and could go on to live in discomfort for years. We believe that natural and effective solutions to aches and pains should be accessible for all.
Aches and pains can come in different forms such as back and rheumatic pain which may be closely linked to many other health or medical conditions. H&B offer medically licensed pain relief that targets joint health but as always it’s a good idea to contact your local GP if you think your joints, aches and pains could be down to something else.

You hear the word thrown about all the time, but you might not know exactly what joints are. Essentially, joints are the area where two bones meet together to allow movement within your body.
Without joints, this wouldn’t be possible.
They are made of cartilage, synovial membrane, ligaments, tendons, bursas, synovial fluid and meniscus.
There are multiple possible causes for joint pain, but some of the most common include:
