After qualifying as a National Childbirth Trust (NCT) breast counsellor in 1996, Joanna has been supporting new families in South West London for more than 20 years. She has also been working as a qualified IBCLC since 2006 and regularly helps expectant and new parents navigate their breastfeeding journey.
Having seen first-hand the disappointment and challenges that can occur when breastfeeding doesn’t work out, Joanna uses evidence-based information and support to help parents achieve their breastfeeding goals. In doing so, she strives to provide both mother and baby with a wide range of health benefits.
Back in 2009, Joanna also trained at Southampton General Hospital and became qualified in carrying out infant tongue-tie assessments and divisions. During this time, she went on to set up and run an NHS Tongue-Tie clinic at West London Hospital.
