Holland & Barrett Evening Primrose Oil Capsules are rapid release softgels that provide the fatty acids linoleic acid (LA) and gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Linoleic acid (LA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. Not all fatty acids can be made in the body so must be supplied through diet or supplementation. Within the body Linoleic Acid is metabolised to GLA, which is essential for the production of hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Human breast milk is one of the richest natural sources of GLA, whilst LA can be found in safflower, hemp and sunflower oils. It is suitable for vegans & vegetarians.

“Been eating these for about 3 months & ive noticed such a massive difference to my skin First 2 months were rough for my period pains but 3rd month there was barely any pain and im so happy that my skins a lot better and my periods are less heavier they werent really heavy but still and theres no pain! Not going to stop eating these and i only eat one a day love to see the results if i ate 2/3 but theyre always out of stock which is a shame! Not bothered about the price because the benefits outweigh the costs and can last you 2 months!”

“I purchased this product because because I started to get hormonal acne. I was told that this will help balance the situation. To be honest I was open to trying this but it didn’t work for me. It was making me drowsy, light headed and major headaches. And I wasn’t seeing any changes. However this is working for a friend of mine so it all depends really.”
