About Dr Abbie
As Science Director at Holland & Barrett, I lead an inspiring and passionate multidisciplinary team of experts including registered nutritionists, dietitians, pharmacists, biomedical scientists, researchers and wellness specialists. Together, we work across the business to ensure a robust, science-led approach in all that we do, including our products, communications, colleague training, and research.
I hold a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Southampton and am a Registered Nutritionist, with nearly 25 years’ experience across academia, healthcare and industry. I remain an honorary fellow at the University of Southampton. My career has spanned clinical and applied nutrition research, public health nutrition, scientific and medical affairs, and product and innovation support. I have authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and have presented at conferences around the world.
