About Saejal
I am Head of Clinical Governance at Holland & Barrett. I am a UK registered pharmacist with 18 years’ experience, including more than 10 years in senior clinical governance roles across retail health and wellness environments. I lead the Clinical Governance team and am accountable for protecting customers from health-related harm across all health and wellness services and propositions. My role focuses on clinical risk management, safeguarding, incident review and continuous improvement, ensuring that products and services are delivered safely, responsibly and within clear wellness boundaries.
My background as a pharmacist gives me strong scientific judgement and a practical understanding of healthcare risk in real world retail settings. I apply this experience to support clear, proportionate decision making that protects customers while enabling the business to operate confidently at scale.
Alongside my governance leadership, I provide clinical safety oversight for digital health services used within the retail environment, ensuring safety considerations are embedded from design through to delivery.
