5 ways to supercharge your day with goji berries

Goji berries are rich in nutrients and bursting with tangy flavour. Enjoy them as a simple snack or, if you want to get more creative, then here are 5 easy ways you can get goji berries into your day:

Make goji berry tea

Use dried goji berries to make a sweet yet tangy tea. Add a handful of berries to hot water or herbal tea and let them steep for up to ten minutes. The gojis soak up the liquid and plump up into juicy berries. To enjoy, sip the flavoured tea and eat the berries.

Add to smoothies

After soaking some goji berries in water until plump, throw them into a blender along with your favourite smoothie ingredients. Although they’re rich in nutrients, they won’t overpower the other flavours.

Sprinkle on cereal

Brighten up your breakfast by scattering some colourful goji berries on top of muesli or porridge.

Add to soup

These berries slightly sour flavour works wonderfully in savoury dishes like soup. Soak the berries in water to rehydrate them. Add to a pan of seasoned simmering vegetables and stock and cook for ten minutes. When ready, blend into a smooth soup and serve with a swirl of yogurt.

Create your own trail mix

Grab and handful of mixed nuts (we like hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and Brazil) and add the berries and any other dried fruit favourites. Trail mix is great as an energy-boosting snack.
