Does the sound of living more of a ‘natural’ life appeal to you? For instance, using natural hair products and natural skincare and eating more of a clean diet (i.e. less processed food and more organic and whole foods). What about going that one step further and swapping your trusty deodorant for a homemade deodorant? Have you thought about popping something more natural under your pits? As out there as it made sound, it’s perfectly possible to whip up a homemade deodorant and give your usual roll-on, spray, or whatever it is you may use, a bit of a break. Going down this route means that you: a) know exactly what’s in your deodorant and b) it’s not going to contain any synthetic chemicals.

What do we mean by ‘natural deodorant?’

It’s as the name suggests. Natural deodorants are an alternative to ‘normal’ deodorants AKA antiperspirants. Unlike antiperspirants, they don’t contain any synthetic ingredients. They work their magic by neutralising sweat rather than preventing our pits from perspiring in the first place.1
