Health comes in a variety of guises. For some, it’s a physique that reflects all the time and energy spent on it. For others, knowing they’re doing all they can to ensure their body functions at its best is the benchmark. Then, there’re those for whom peace of mind is the pinnacle of good health and happiness.

At HFM, we like to think we present a well-rounded view, which is why both mind and body are given due diligence. So, this issue, we’ve got workouts to build muscle and strength, as well as nutritional advice and recipes that are both nourishing and tasty. Beyond the gym and the kitchen, we look at the rise of the fitness blogger and whether advice given on social media is really the sort you should follow (p25).
