Great general supplement
“These are a good, general supplement to add to your routine with good evidence they lower blood pressure (though avoid high dose vitamin C if taking it for this as there’s evidence the two taken together can have the opposite effect!), improve circulation, can aid healthy hair growth and skin repair. They have a vasodilator effect which means they open blood vessels and make it easier for blood to travel around your body. I found them useful for general poor circulation, they help my body esp hands and feet feel warmer and stop my face getting that pale, sunken look. They also helped with my headaches which in my case are probably caused by poor circulation/vasoconstriction in my head. They can unfortunately make me feel a bit unwell right after taking (nothing awful just bloated and a bit sluggish) so I’ve started to avoid taking them during the day, just at night and I feel fine the next day. I would recommend the same just in case you get side effects, I may also try the lower 50mg dose next time. I certainly would not take more than 1 of these a day until you know you can tolerate it well.”
