“Very tasty and filling. Lovely with some fresh onion and pulses. I love sprinkling some Parmesan too and a small drop of olive oil extra virgin. Quick to cook and doesn’t get mushy or stick together. I even froze some after I cooked it and it defrosted ok and all I had to do was warm it ready to add anything.”

“I am a huge quinoa fan. I bought this one from Holland & Barrett for the first time a few weeks ago. Was disappointed when I went to rinse it and the water was red!! Never in my past quinoa experience has the water turned red. Maybe this is because it is not pre-washed but regardless, strongly suggest you rinse before use. Good taste once cooked.”

Cooking instructions: Rinse the quinoa under cold running water to remove its bitter flavour. Tip into a pan and add double the amount of salted water. Place over a medium heat with a lid and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender and the liquid is absorbed.
