Ryan and Kim launched Life Kitchen after losing parents to cancer, and seeing how chemotherapy was affecting their experience with food. The H&B with Life Kitchen collection has been designed to enhance each of our five basic tastes: sweet, sour, salt, bitter and umami.

Packed full of umami flavours, think of this paste as a shortcut to delicious food! The rich ingredients synergistically work to create an immense taste explosion, boosting flavour and intensifying all the other ingredients in your dishes.

To achieve this, we have used big hitting umami power houses like yeast extract, dark soya sauce, mushroom powder, and MSG. And to balance it, we have added the sourness of citric acid, the sweetness of honey and the heat of ginger.
