These vegan caramelised onion sausage rolls are the perfect picnic treat - flaky and full of deliciousness!

- 1 pack Naturya Plant-Based Sausage Mix
- 1 red onion
- 1 small apple (grated)
- 1 pack puff pastry
- Olive oil (for cooking)
- 50ml plant-based milk (to brush over pastry)
In a pan, add a little olive oil, the chopped red onion and grated apple.
Gently fry until nicely softened and caramelised.
Make up the sausage mix as per the packet instructions.
Add the caramelised onion and apple mix to the sausage mix and stir together.
Lay out the pastry.
Begin to get some of the mixture into your hands and mould it into a long sausage shape and place it onto the pastry.
Fold over the pastry and cut at the join. Use your fingers to pinch the edge together to hold.
Cut into small sausage rolls.
Brush over a little plant-based milk.
Place on a baking tray and pop into the oven at 180 °C for 25 minutes or until nicely golden!
Allow to cool and enjoy!
