A sustainable and comfortable alternative to tampons and pads, Allmatters is suitable for anyone who menstruates.
Size A has been designed specifically for those who have not given birth vaginally.
Suitable for up to several years’ use, giving you significant savings on sanitary products, your Allmatters menstrual cup is made of safe, soft 100% medical grade silicone, free from harmful chemicals, FDA approved, AllergyCertified and certified vegan.
Why opt for a menstrual cup?
Disposable menstrual products generate around 200,000 tonnes of waste each year.
An eco-friendly alternative to traditional period products, menstrual cups like Allmatters offer several years use and require only a gentle wash before re-use.
They are also a real money saver, with tampon and towel users estimated to spend up to £18,450 on period products over a lifetime.
Once you are in the swing of using a menstrual cup, it can be significantly easier to live with than cotton-based products.
There is no need to carry a range of absorbencies and no need to do the old tampon-up-the-sleeve manoeuvre.
You will not need to empty your cup as often as you would change a tampon either. Many people find that their cups, suitable for up to 12 hours wear at a time, need refreshing only once on waking and once before bed.
Menstrual cups are also a safer choice than tampons, carrying a lower risk of toxic shock syndrome, also known as TSS.
Menstrual cup use
Using a period cup for the first time can be intimidating. Even this small menstrual cup might seem unwieldy to begin with.
But relax! Using a vaginal cup is easier and so much more comfortable than you imagine, just be sure to take your time and always wash your hands before touching your cup.
Inserting menstrual cup: the key to inserting your menstrual cup is to take your time and relax. Once you have found the insertion technique that works for you (and there are a couple of ways to do it) it will become an absolute breeze.
Wearing a cup: When you first wear your cup you may find it a little uncomfortable. It is designed to sit lower in your vaginal canal than a tampon. Because letting it hang so low may feel unnatural at first there is a chance you are wearing it higher than you need to. Remove and readjust. When your cup is correctly positioned you will barely notice it.
You may also need to trim OrganiCup’s stem. Some users even prefer to remove it completely. Use sharp scissors and take it mm by mm until you find the stem length that suits you. It may take a few days or even a couple of periods to find your comfort zone.
Removing and emptying menstrual cups: Removing your cup may take practice but again, once you have the hang of it, it is as simple as taking out a tampon, with less of the potential for discomfort on lighter days.
Empty your cup directly into the toilet bowl and rinse well in the sink. After each period disinfect your cup by placing it in boiling water for a few minutes.

“Way better than using tampons! If it’s your first time using, you should wear pants liners as you may get leakage if not positioned correctly. (Don’t give up, you will get it!) once in you should gently feel around the bottom of the bulb to ensure there are no dents, dents will mean the cup had not fully unfolded, which will lead to leakage.”

“So happy I bought this always thought about it but just never did an I so regret it now. It's fantastic I feel so clean and feels so much fresher than tampons which is what I used before. No leakage at all easy to use and remove etc so messing. I usually wear a tampon and a pad at night an pj's bottoms incase and this is no leakage at all I haven't bothered an have had no accidents at all. Fantastic product !”

“I have been using AllMatters (Organicup) for almost 3 years now and it has never failed me! I was looking for a cost-effective alternative to the usual sanitary product selection that was also sustainable, ethical, and vegan. AllMatters ticks every box. It's an easy product to use, I back it up with period underwear and personally I've been completely leak free since. They are useable for up to 12hrs so when I go to work I don't have to run to the bathroom all the time, and the economic value is just as good! One of these cups can save you the spend on traditional sanitary products within weeks and it can be re-used for many years. Admittedly, I've not tried any other brands, but I haven't looked back since buying this product. It's a game changer and I think every woman who can use these products, should.”

“I’ve had this for a year and almost every period I’m having a leak and it’s a right mess trying to clean up even when inserting the cup in the right position because of the holes I think this is why it leaks after a certain point even when I’m changing it multiple times in the day! Going to try look for another brand to see if it works better for me personally! It’s great way to save money and the planet though so definitely worth it if it works for you. :)”

“Used for the first time. I’ve been using period pants and these have been fine, however I am predicted to be menstruating for a family holiday and so not wish to be held hostage to the pool side / sand etc. Insertion/removal was easy after following instructions carefully. No discomfort and no leaks. I used size A despite it not being recommended for those that have given birth. I have birthed 3 children at term, and all vaginally. I choose size A based on my flow which is light. (Do consider your flow when choosing your size) I’m definitely converted to using cups rather than period pants now. I like the discreetness and ability to swim of the cup. I also managed to get it with 25% off. So happy 😁”

“I have had issues with extreamley heavy periods for years and every single month with out a doubt a have leaked through atleast 2/3 pairs of trousers a day. I started using this cup and it has changed my life for sure, doesn't leak at all and not leaked through any trousers so far. Its a bit messy to start with when changing and cleaning but will get used to it. I wish I had found this years earlier. Would Highley recommend.”

“I've since bought the Enna which is a bit of a softer silicone, I feel. This one is ok. Hard to gauge if your in your 40s and haven't had children as on many instructions it's assumed if you're over 30. I truly think you just have to give them a go and see which suits.”
