Directions:
Apply to clean hair, concentrating on the ends and areas prone to dryness. Leave for a minute and rinse thoroughly. Can be used daily.

Nice and gentle
I bought this for my baby but my daughter age 11 also uses this and leaves her hair soft and her scalp less irritated. I would say suitable for all ages....
