Clearspring Organic Matcha Ginger harmoniously combines Japanese green tea, rich and exquisite premium Matcha, and the uplifting taste of fiery ginger root. It’s the perfect tea infusion for chilly mornings as it warms you up from the inside out and spices up your day! Clearspring Organic Matcha Ginger is specially created by our Japanese expert tea producers. It contains three distinct and delicious ingredients. The organic sencha is made from green tea leaves that are cultivated in direct sunlight and are harvested in the first or second flush of the tea harvest, considered the best quality leaves for a finer tasting Sencha tea. This is then combined with the fiery notes of ginger root. The final flourish is the addition of finely milled, shade-grown organic matcha which comes from Uji, a region high in the hills around Kyoto, renowned for producing the best Japanese teas. It delivers a delicious blend and balance of flavours, perfect at any time of the day, but especially so when you need a zesty and invigorating pick-me-up.
Our tea bags are completely plastic-free and home compostable. They are stitched together using a unique folding process rather than sealed with plastic or stapled. The string holding the tea bag is made of 100% organic cotton. The rest of the packaging from the tag on the tea bag to the outer carton is recyclable as paper. So please recycle the packaging and compost your teabags or pop them in your food waste bin.
