Description

Papua New Guinea, Karkar Island, 72% 65g bar

  • A rich, volcanic, single estate 72% cocoa bar made in the UK from beans sourced direct from our farmers in Papua New Guinea, Karkar Island.
  • No artificial flavours or fruit ingredients. Suitable for a dairy free, nut free, vegan, vegetarian, kosher and halal diet.
  • Taste notes of walnut and wild mushroom yield to intense cocoa ending with truffles. Take time to let the flavours develop on the palate.

It is a little misleading to call Karkar an island, as it is in fact one large volcano. 60 miles across, and visible from over 50 miles away. But the rich soil you find here on the sides of the volcano is ideal for growing the finest cocoa. Waves of walnut and wild mushroom yield to taste notes of intense cocoa and truffle.

Firetree's luxurious, British, award-winning dark chocolate, using rare cocoa from single-estates on remote volcanic South Pacific islands. Our Chocolate Maker bends complex natural flavour notes into silky smooth whole-bean roasted chocolate. Vegan, kosher, halal, no additives or flavourings. Nut-free. Dairy-free.
