Coenzyme Q10 (or CoQ-10) is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance naturally found in every cell of the body, with especially high levels in the heart, skeletal muscles and other tissues with high energy requirements. As we age, our bodies produce less and less CoQ-10. Nutri-Nano CoQ10 has been designed for faster absorption than traditional CoQ10, and is soluble in both fat and water.

Usually, fat-soluble nutrients such as CoQ10 are absorbed the same way as other dietary fats, and are emulsified before going through a process called micellisation. This is where Nutri-Nano CoQ10 is different. Solgar Nutri-Nano CoQ10 uses patented nanotechnology so that there's no need for emulsification and micellisation in the gut. Solgar Nutri-Nano CoQ10 uses this nanotechnology to transform fat-soluble nutrients into amphiphilic nutrients, which are soluble in both fat and water. This aims to provide a CoQ10 product which is more bioavailable than traditional powdered or oil-based CoQ10 for faster, more efficient delivery to cells.
