1. Beyond the To-Do List
This is one of the most popular productivity-boosting podcasts out there, and that’s all thanks to the format devised by its host, Erik Fisher. Erik interviews people from all walks of life and a wide variety of different careers, asking them for tips on how to be savvier when it comes to time management and achieving personal goals.
Throughout each podcast episode, Erik also encourages his guests to focus on past challenges, previous failures, and how they managed to work through them to emerge as more creative, focused and driven individuals.
2. Getting Things Done
This podcast is hosted by David Allen – author of a book by the same name – and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Through each episode, David talks listeners through his method for completing tasks and projects by breaking them down into smaller, more easily achievable components.
Allen himself is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to productivity having had a wide variety of careers during his life, from karate teacher to landscape gardener. His focus is all about getting things done with minimal stress, and he places emphasis on reducing the amount of time it takes to complete all those distracting and stressful jobs done and dusted.
3. The 5 am Miracle
You can already guess what this one’s all about. Jeff Sanders is a self-confessed ‘personal development junkie’ and attributes his success and drive to getting up bright and early at 5 am every day. He encourages his listeners to do the same with his mantra: ‘dominate your day before breakfast’.
Jeff’s interview with Deepak Chopra, the well-known alternative medicine guru, is a definite highlight. Expect to hear all about the physical and mental benefits of an early morning, including improved memory skills.
