Using a high MGO manuka honey means you’ll reap the best of its antibacterial benefits.
Just pop in your lunchbox on busy days, or store for 3-5 days in the fridge.
Large pinch of sea salt
Sesame seeds for rolling in
Place the ground almonds and sea salt in a bowel.
In a separate bowl, add the Manuka honey to the tahini and stir to make a thick paste.
Pour the honey mixture over the almonds and mix and use your hands to work together into a dough. Pop in the fridge to firm up for 10 minutes.
Break the dough into balls (about the size of a golf ball) and then roll them in the sesame seeds.
Pop them on the plate to serve, or these will keep for about three to five days in an airtight container in the fridge.
