What is it?
Holland & Barrett Lutigold Lutein capsules contain the plant-based carotenoids: lutein and zeaxanthin – the pigments in fruits and vegetables that give them a yellow or reddish hue. Lutein is not made in the body, so it can only be obtained through your diet and lutein supplements.

What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?
- Carotenoids can’t be made in our bodies; therefore, you may find it useful to take carotenoid supplements and make sure to consume carotenoid-rich foods like parsley, spinach, kale, broccoli, and peas. Even though carotenoids make up yellow and reddish hues in some fruits and vegetables, they’re found mostly in dark-green leafy vegetables. The dark-green lutein and zeaxanthin pigments are simply disguised by the chlorophyll in leafy green vegetables.
