Our candle is made from clean burning sustainable coconut wax blend with base notes of Geranium and Frankincense, top notes of Lavender and hibiscus invoking the fragrance of soft African Moss. We use cotton wicks and recyclable and reusable container. The famous Queen Idia, forever immortalised as a Benin Bronze. Queen Idia is a symbol of female empowerment and proof of ancient matriarchal societies. The myth tells of two medicine-filled incisions on her forehead that were the source of her metaphysical power. “I have to agree with others that it did not come with the lid as pictured and it was dirty/dusty so no good if you wanted it as a gift for someone but I bought it for our home. I love the sent, most candles give me headache and I find them too strong but this one smells like an expensive perfume in my opinion which is not overpowering. I would buy it again when on sale as it is too small so not worth full price. Only 4* due to missing lid.”

“So disappointed with this candle, it smells so bad, of very strong synthetic fragrance and it did not come with a cork lid so the candle was so dusty! Even thought I bought it for half the price it's not worth it, I will be returning!”
