This quick and easy smoothie features Manuka honey which is a great way to get an energy boost before a work out. It’s also super easy to customise to your taste.
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 150ml almond milk (or milk of your choice) *
- 150ml water
- 1 tsp Manuka honey *
- 1 tsp desiccated coconut *
- 1 sprig of mint
Chop the banana and add it to the blender, along with the milk, water and blueberries.
Add in the teaspoon of Manuka honey (the higher the MGO, the higher the level of antioxidants!) and blend together until smooth.
Pour into a glass, and top with coconut, a few blueberries and a sprig of mint.
Fruit can be substituted depending on your preference, but don’t forget the Manuka honey for that extra energy hit to improve your work-out!
