This sparkling berry mocktail blends zesty lime, fresh mint and a homemade blueberry syrup with coconut water and brain-supporting ingredients for a refreshing, functional sip

Ingredients

This berry mocktail is designed with brain health and hydration in mind. It combines antioxidant-rich blueberries with coconut water for electrolytes, plus added brain-supporting ingredients like Cognizin® and vitamin B.

The homemade blueberry syrup gives it a smoother texture and more balanced flavour, helping round out the stronger notes from the superfood powders. Ideal for warm days, mid-afternoon slumps or easy alcohol-free hosting.

Method

Step 1

Add the blueberries and honey to a small saucepan with a splash of water. Gently heat for around five minutes, stirring and pressing the berries until they break down into a syrup.

Step 2

Strain through a fine sieve into a bowl or glass, pressing well to extract the liquid. Discard the skins and leave the syrup to cool slightly.

Step 3

Add the blueberry syrup to a blender with the mint, lime zest and juice, beauty powder, H&B Brain Complex Support and coconut water. Blend until smooth.

Step 4

Pour into a glass filled with ice, then top up with soda water.

Step 5

Stir gently and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few blueberries before serving.

FAQs

How do I make blueberry syrup and how long does it last?

To make blueberry syrup, gently heat blueberries with a little water and sweetener until they break down, then strain for a smooth finish. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days or freeze in small portions for longer use.

What is in H&B Hydration + Brain Ginseng Support Dark Berry?

You can also explore the rest of our hydration sachets in the new H&B range to find options that suit your needs.

Can I use frozen blueberries instead of fresh?

Yes, frozen blueberries work just as well and are a great option when fresh aren’t in season. There’s no need to defrost them first – simply cook them down as you would fresh, although you may need to simmer a little longer to reduce any extra liquid.
