LOVE these...................
“LOVE to have these in the cupboard all the time. Cooking a lot of simple Chinese dishes, it's great to sprinkle a few of these over the top of certain dishes for an authentic taste. I also make my own Irish Soda bread using Spelt flour and kefir.............. We don't eat enough seeds and nuts, so i put plenty in this bread and it makes such a difference. When you lightly toast it in the morning it brings all the flavours alive!!! Unfortunately, this purchase was tainted................ I bought two packets and one packet had a visible cut on one of the plastic corners. By the time it was delivered to me, the whole box was filled with loose sesame seeds. Having taken pictures and contacted Holland and Barrett on Messanger, which I would normally do, i heard nothing. So I contacted them via their website and got nowhere. They stopped short of accusing me of making it up. I had to leave it and throw out the packet, because i really can not waste any more of my time.................”

Using whole sesame
“I toast these and then pulverise them in my food mixer (it takes a good three or four minutes off and on) to make a sesame paste (add a bit of tahini to thin if necessary- it will be, or olive oil) which is a lot better value than buying tahini these days.”
